Improving Transparency and Accountability of Special Education Services

Teachers are not getting the support they need to help their students. In some cases, they are unaware of accommodations. In other cases, they are advocating for their students and getting shut down. This is not the program our children deserve.

Parents who find themselves let down, disheartened, and dissatisfied with the performance of our Special Education services are no longer alone. With strength in numbers, we are learning there is a systemic failure to identify, define and deliver services in a way that supports teachers, students, and parents alike.

We are parents helping parents in their mission to ensure our district is:

  • Attracting and Retaining Exceptional Educators

  • Meeting the Needs of Every Student

  • Providing a Safe School Environment

  • Leading with Transparency

Please note: We are unaffiliated with the Brookline PTO, which is an organization that does wonderful work for our schools, and that we recommend also supporting!

Our Community Forum exists to connect parents who need each other's support in ensuring the best, safest and most transparent learning environment for their children.
